Monica is a native Californian and graduated from California State University, Long Beach where she studied Art and Graphic Design. She has always been involved in art and finds a fulfilling balance with business and design. An award winning designer, several of her projects have been recognized in magazines such as Communication Arts :: 2008 Design Annual, PRINT Magazine :: 2008 Regional Design Annual, HOW Magazine :: 2008 Design Annual, and HOW Magazine :: 2009 International Design Annual.

Monica has worked in both fashion trim and product design, most notably with stationery and office product design company Knock Knock. Her design work has been featured in various print magazines including Real Simple Magazine, O Magazine, Ready-Made Magazine and BUST Magazine.
