Henry Chen, one of LA’s most revered wedding photographers, thrives on the challenge and adrenaline of capturing life’s greatest moments. With a technical mindset and photojournalistic approach, Henry’s photographs exude the raw emotion of love through unique compositions and a stylish blend of lines and light.
Though he graduated with engineering degrees from Harvey Mudd College and USC, Henry’s natural talent for photography manifested in the summer of 2006 when he served as a photography intern for the Los Angeles Clippers. His desire to make an impact on the lives of others affirmed his decision to transition to wedding photography full-time in January 2010.
Henry’s days were once consumed by science and engineering. Now he’s a master storyteller and architect of memories. The thrill of being a wedding photographer now rests in several pivotal, decisive moments, such as when the bride and groom sees each other for the first time on their big day. His passion for photography extends beyond capturing remarkable moments.
Henry is bestowing his own knowledge upon others through his newest enterprise, Learn from Henry. LFH is an educational incubator for aspiring photographers. Learn From Henry workshops are filled with Henry’s insight from his experience as photographer and entrepreneur.
Henry is well on his way to taking over the world of wedding photography. Quite literally. He hopes to have photographed a wedding on every continent in the next five years. Along the way, Henry plans to inspire and make a difference in communities across the globe, through the power of photography.
